The Design
The Hangar was designed by an award-winning architect with a post-modern industrial vibe in mind. We left the wood ceilings exposed, brought in a well-known Texas metal artist to craft interior and exterior iron elements, and wrapped the interior in sliding glass doors looking out onto the runway. With 1000 square feet of enclosed air-conditioned living space and a 600 square foot covered patio, you won't find anything like the Hangar in the Highland Lakes area.
The Airstrip
Nothing bigger than a single engine comes into this tiny secluded grass airstrip. You'll be rushing out to open your awesome giant metal hangar doors and watch one or two planes take off each weekend.
